Description
Per college not more than 3 candidates will be allowed, Each candidate to speak for 3 minutes, At the end of 2.5 minutes, a warning bell will be rung, At the end of 3 minutes, bell will be rung again, If the candidate exceeds 3 minutes, marks will be lost, Candidates will be judged on various criteria like content, speech, question handling etc by the jury, The decision of the jury will be final and irrevocable, First and second winner will be announced
Rules and Regulations
- The maximum no. of participants will be one.
- The time duration is 7 minutes. (3 minutes to think and 4 minutes to express).
- The judgment will be done based on : Rationality of views ,Intonation of voice during the debate, Fluency, Views expressed favor/ against the topic, His / Her oratorical skills, Ability to answer the queries, Face to face argument
- The topic will be provided on the spot.
- Participants will have to speak in FAVOUR of the topic for 2 minutes and AGAINST the topic for the next 2 minutes
- Only shortlisted participants will go for 2 rounds.
